Choosing the Right Templates for your Blog

Each blog is different from one another. Whatever blog platform you are using, there are thousands of templates that include necessary coding and scripts. Several templates are more modifiable and have plug-ins to create valuable widgets while some only have the fundamental features such as the ability to add tags, accept trackbacks, and include various incoming and outgoing links.
Let us take into several considerations before making a decision on choosing a template. Learning these essential aspects will help you create a high-quality outline. 1. The Layout Desired – This includes the number of columns you wanted to appear in your blog. You can have 2 or 3 columns depending on needs of your blog. There are multiple of free templates samples available depending on the chosen layout. 2. The Color arrangement – Blog templates already had default colors however you need to customize this to be more personalized. You can use the 3 color rule for example. 3. The Design- Design does matter. This is one of the strategies to lift a blog to the next level and help create a great first impression. If you are in business type blog it is preferred to have it professional. However if have personal blog, you can design it the way you wanted to as long as it visible/readable to the readers. 4. The Customize Header- This is the image at the top of the page that is something extremely valuable. This is first thing that will be displayed to your readers. Having appealing header will create first-class intuition to your template. X 5. The Ads Ready- Effective ad placement is critical if you plan to make any significant amounts of money through Google Adsense or other contextual ad systems. Most templates which are not really attractive but functional and had ad placement decently have plus factor. Having ready SEO themes should also take into consideration. 6. It should be SEO Friendly – Keyword specific title tags are important for search engine rankings. The same is true for keyword specific h1 tags. Having them match reinforces the strength of those terms. 7. The RSS feed button – Ideal SEO template includes RSS feed button that allows various ways to link pages and posts, and allow for a number of plug-ins including Google Adsense. 8. The Ability to Monetizing Your Blog – if you blog will have “affiliate marketing links” ensure this features is easy to add or included in the selected template.
There are numerous options on choosing a blog template. You just need to allocate more time browsing over the net to find the ideal template for you that can adopt and adjust your needs. |
